The qualifying examination for admission of students (Boys and Girls) to class VIII in the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, Jan 2026 term, will be held on 1st June 2025 F.N and A.N, only at selected centres in the country among which Chennai city will be one. The examination will consist of both written and viva-voce tests. The written examination will consist of three papers viz., English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The medium of examination will be in English or Hindi for the subjects Mathematics and General Knowledge. The interview will be held to test the intelligence, personality and communication skills of the candidates. The interview date will be intimated later for the candidates who qualify in the written examination. Minimum pass marks in each paper including interview will be 50%
